China (Fujian) Stones, Inc., founded and run by Dr. Rong Gao, is a leading supplier of natural stone for a wide variety of projects around the world. Our commitment to quality, value, distinctiveness, and concern for the environment is reflected in every project that uses our products. Many of these structures become icons of local architecture, to be admired for many decades to come.

Since 1998, China Stones as been a premier exporter of stone to America and Europe, mainly focusing on international tenders for high-end stone projects, and one of a handful of Chinese companies having this capability. Our products are found in over 30 countries and we have annual sales in the tens of millions of dollars.

In 1999, China Stones supplied stone materials for a post office in Aberdeen, United Kingdom. The tremendous level of quality--only two pieces of inaccurate stone were found in a total of 24 containers--astonished local developers, contractors, and owners. Chinese stone companies have been highly regarded in the United Kingdom ever since.

In the past decade, we have supplied stone materials for dozens of projects around the world, including:

  1. ◇ Belgium: a shopping mall, bank, and an office building
  2. ◇ China: Hong Kong Disneyland
  3. ◇ Israel: insurance building (Beit Ampa)
  4. ◇ Italy: office building and apartments
  5. ◇ South Africa: Mandela Rhodes Place (famous development in Cape Town)
  6. ◇ Tanzania: a new parliament building and other office structures
  7. ◇ United Kingdom: apartment buildings, church, castle, and a post office
  8. ◇ United States: renovation project at Harvard Divinity School, hotels, schools, and mansions (some of them worth over ten million dollars)

Some of the projects have won international awards (e.g. NESPA Gold Award, NESPA Silver Award and NESPA Bronze Award in the year of 2007-2004), and we have supplied stone materials for many other structures not shown in this website.

Tender bids for international projects include:

China Stones is located in Fujian Province (opposite the Taiwan Straits), the largest stone production base in China. In addition to the cost advantage of having nearby quarries, we have a wealth of accumulated know-how in strict drawing-specified manufacturing as well as a constantly improving quality control system in the long-term supply of stone materials. We have also teamed up with numerous experts in CAD systems, accounting, network administration, and project management; the company also participates in tenders for international projects. We are ISO certified, and are familiar with the rules and procedures for project completion. This allows China Stones to cooperate with architects, developers, and contractors to win tenders and solve problems that guarantee prompt delivery and overall quality for the project.
